What a season does to a uniform
A competitive cheer uniform is washed after every practice and worn through stunts, tumbling and stretching that most garments never see. Films that look identical on the roll separate quickly: one keeps its sparkle after fifty washes, the other dulls, cracks at the edges and sheds glitter inside the machine.
The three specs that matter
Wash rating: SHINHAN glitter film is rated 100+ washes at 60 °C; PU film 80+.
Stretch after application: glitter film has medium stretch; PU film high stretch for names and numbers on stretch fabrics.
Flake-free construction: encapsulated glitter that does not shed on the press or in the wash.
Recommended film by garment
Shell tops and skirts: glitter HTV for logos and lettering, layered over PU if a solid outline is needed.
Practice wear and warm-ups: PU HTV for names and numbers on polyester and spandex blends.
Bows and accessories: glitter HTV on sheets, cut small and pressed with a mini press.
Colours and consistency
