SHINHAN Glitter HTV is a polyester glitter film bound in polyurethane with a hot-melt adhesive and a 100 µm PET carrier. The glitter is encapsulated so it does not shed during weeding, pressing or washing. It applies at 160 °C in 15 seconds, peels cold and is rated for 100+ domestic washes at 60 °C in our lab.

Structure and technology
Three layers on a 100 µm PET carrier: the glitter layer, where polyester glitter particles are locked into a polyurethane binder; a cured top skin that keeps the surface closed; and a hot-melt adhesive that bonds to the fibre during the press.
Standard glitter films dust the glitter on top of the binder, which is why they shed during weeding, on the press and in the wash, and why suppliers warn “do not layer on glitter”. SHINHAN encapsulates each particle and laminates the adhesive in-line immediately after coating, so the layers never separate.
Proof in the kit: every sample kit includes a pressed sample and a piece pre-washed at 60 °C. Rub-test data (10 cycles on black cotton, residue weighed) is available on request.
Quality and compliance
Every batch is checked for colour difference, adhesion, thickness and surface before slitting and sheeting. Retained samples and production records are kept so reorders match. QC report on request with each shipment.

Frequently asked questions
Is your glitter HTV really flake-free?
Yes. The glitter is encapsulated in the binder and the surface is cured closed. Our rub test presses a 10 × 10 cm sample, rubs it for 10 cycles on black cotton and weighs the residue; results are available on request, and every sample kit includes a pre-washed piece so you can judge it yourself.
What settings should I use on cotton versus polyester?
Cotton: 160 °C, 15 seconds, medium pressure, cold peel. Polyester: 150 °C for 12–15 seconds to limit dye migration. The full table by fabric is above.
Can it be layered?
Use glitter as the top layer only. Standard PU can go underneath; do not press other films on top of glitter.
Which certifications do you provide for children’s apparel?
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate copies for the certified lines, lead and phthalate test reports from accredited laboratories with a component certificate so your importer can issue the final Children’s Product Certificate, a Proposition 65 statement and a REACH SVHC declaration.
Do you offer private label and custom packaging?
Yes: 12 × 12″, 12 × 10″ and 12 × 24″ sheets, header cards, sleeves, custom labels and UPC codes; rolls in 12″ / 15″ / 20″ on branded cores.
What are the minimum order and lead time?
Minimums are confirmed per colour and format in your quotation, and a first order can start with a pilot roll. Stock colours ship in 7–10 business days; custom colours in 2–4 weeks.
Can you match a Pantone or a competitor’s colour?
Yes. Send a Pantone code or a physical swatch; lab-dips take about 5–7 business days.
How do you ensure batch consistency?
Each batch is checked for colour difference, adhesion, thickness and surface. We keep retained samples and production records, and provide QC reports on request.
Do you keep stock outside Korea?
Today we ship direct from Yangju: DHL or FedEx for samples and urgent replenishment, sea freight for volume. Ask us about regional stock options for your market.
